Job Description of Business Development Executive (Ed-Tech) – at NOIDA
The individual is responsible for achieving assigned P&L targets, driving new growth opportunities while maintaining existing ones, and ensuring timely customer collections.
Accountable for the entire sales cycle, from lead generation, qualification, and development to negotiation and closing, managing multiple internal and external stakeholders throughout the process.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) As Business Development Executive
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve set targets and expand the company’s B2C customer base.
- Build and maintain relationships with new customers, securing contracts to meet assigned sales quotas.
- Identify and engage potential customers through direct methods like calls and meetings, as well as indirect approaches such as networking.
- Generate new business ideas and create action plans to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Establish a strong network of business associates to drive monthly admissions.
- Attain enrolment and revenue targets by formulating strategies based on market trends and assigned leads.
- Conduct inbound and outbound customer calls, convert leads into sales, and achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Address customer inquiries regarding Data Science courses, provide expert consultation, and guide prospects in their purchase decisions.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects and customers, logging all interactions for detailed record-keeping.
- Leverage multiple channels to meet enrolment targets.
- Meet business objectives through effective sales techniques and consultative counselling.
Desired Skills:
- 1 to 5 years of experience in Inside Sales/telesales experience /Client Meeting Experience in a B2C environment with excellent communication skills, enthusiastic go-getter and willingness to meet targets.
- Open to candidates with up to 5 years of relevant experience in sales in Ed Tech/the Education industry in Data Science Domain.
- Enthusiastic about engaging with diverse clients and understanding their training needs.
- Goal-oriented with a proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Familiarity with telephone sales, cold calling, client meetings, and managing lead pipelines.
- Theoretical understanding of Data Science and Big Data technologies is desirable.
- Super passionate about sales and have the ability to convert leads into customers.
- Consistent track record of achieving sales targets (monthly/quarterly), preferably from an education industry background in the Data Science Domain.
- Experience in selling Software products/Services in the past preferred.
- Technical Skills required: Basic understanding of latest technologies.
- Soft skills required: Excellent written & spoken English communication.
